Oh here we go! I am currently using the BT-21's. I like them very much, good mileage, good traction, results will vary. My next set will be the Avon Storms. Good luck!

interesting thread though. i think i have bridgestones factory supplied. probably use michelin dual compounds i was using on the gsxr1000.

My next set will be Dunlop Roadsmart for good mileage, superb handling and good grip. I've been using them on my tuned Blackbird and consider them without doubt as the #1 sport touring tyre after being testing all premium sport touring tyres. The feeling in corners is awsome since they are extremely linear. They are great on trackdays as well. I've never been a fan of Dunlop tyres but this time they have got it right. The tyre has been on top in this segment since they came last year.

Michelin Road II are also good regarding mileage and have the best wet grip if this is in priority, but they don't handles as well as the Dunlops, which builds confidence and makes the bike turning very quick.

and the preliminary test data they presents has shown to be absolutely true.

They are good but just to be different I am going to try the Pilot Road II's in the spring.

Pilot Power if you want a good tire. BT016 if you want a great tire. BT002RS if you want a great, cheap tire that will need replacing more often.

Have any of you guys tried a Shinko ? I have a Shinko 009 Raven on the back of mine and it seems good enough for the street .It’s supper cheap at $100 on ebay .A lot of the guys at the drag strip are using the Shinko 003 .Shinko has a nice numbering system , the lower the number (009-003) the softer the tire so you know exactly what you are getting , a long lasting tire or a sticky tire

Just thought you guys might like to know that there is a cheaper alternative for that tire ravenous hayabusa

Resistant to change. Settled on burning off the Avon ST Storms, good stickage, wet weather grip, and getting 5K mileage. Also running a 200 series on the rear last few years, I honestly can't tell the difference with the 190 even with hard riding and days of twisties.

Tires also depend on what you're going to be doing with the bike. The Avon Storms are a good sport-touring tire, but other parts of the country, might run a softer tire. I ran super-sport race tires for 2 years and finally got tired of leaving my house 2x and having to replace tires every 2000 miles.

so far the pilot road 2s have been great and are lasting alot longer than the pilot powers.

just got a roadsmart rear, because i often commute and needed the mileage.
my last bt56 lasted a little over a month, and wasn't safe on the wet stuff.
the roadsmart is wearing very well indeed.
it will break loose if i hit it good in 1st gear.
the bt56's would do that if they were down to the wear bar

Ι think that BT-016 are great for every use+mileage but what about the cost of the..I bought the pair for 390 euros..Thats really expencive..i think.
