So, since I am considering getting one also and it seems the group agrees on the heavy ones for vibe relief, my question is regular finish or polished

I'm going for the heavy, polished ones. Then I'm painting them with Duplicolor's Metalcast paint to give it an anodized look.

I've got the heavy polished ones...they feel very good, not cheaply made...look nice on the Busa...

The only problem with any mechanical locking device for setting your speed is the fact it doesn't compensate for hills, wind, etc....

The "rear" is stock...it just looks huge because of the brownies...I mean because I modified that mudflap of a rear on the stock bike...

They are great for long distance riding comfort but I take mine off when riding around town or hitting the twisties
