throttle spins when im at the track any help

my whole assembly spins, it starts off normal and by the time im at the end of the track it spun around so im not gettting full throddle. any suggestions?

How did you tie down your bike when you took it to the track?

when my bike was delivered that winter they tied to the grips and over twisted it.

there is a small pin in the housing that fits in a hole in the bars..suzuki payed for new.

Yeah, you probably busted the pin. I did just riding this summer. I think my screws came loose giving me a little play and then snap.

i broke mine at the track.i fixed it by making a new pin out of a drill bit.i first drilled into the plastic piece on the grip a little so the new pin would go into it and then put the drill bit into the hole on the handle bar and cut it off.i figured that a steel pin would hold up better than plastic and a whole lot cheeper too.
