Just finished up with replacing fork seals tonight! I still have to put the bike back together, but the seals are in and the forks are back together. I would reccommend doing them yourself, they are not that difficult to do. Not only that, you have the board here to bounce ideas off of if you get stuck. Hope I can post some of the pictures of the replacement here in the future. till then good luck.

+1 48,ooo miles on mine + a 250lbs ride = sloppy forks.

and the oil isn't already leaking all over your tire? I would expect after that many miles you would have oil leaks.
