It makes me laugh coz carbs are so much simpler and easier to tune than fuel injection....downside is with carbs, all the time involved with removing them to adjust internal jetting, needles etc, and refitting, then reading plug colour etc... a lot of time involved.
and never leave the german ethanol filthed fuel ( with up to 10% ) inside tank longer than 4 months with no starting the motor onc every week.
then you will have a gritty greenish green layer all inside the carbs.
believe in me - i met this dozens times (fj 1200)
I would like to puke every time because of that.
