Analogy, metaphor, etc, etc. Please keep it positivelease:
Here is my closest analogy:
The .org is like a small business, perhaps a restaurant with regular customers and a "right to refuse service" sign on the door. I have managed restaurants with this sign. Fortunately, I rarely had to use the sign. "Customers" have privlileges, not rights.
My more specific analogy is "Cheers" where everybody knows your name
Cheers was a place where varied people hung out
We have several members here who fit the role of "Coach", Loved by all!
Perhaps, sometimes I fit the role of "Cliff", know it all role, etc.
I really dont know the show all that well, but if you know a good ".org member/Cheers character comparison chime in, please keep it positive.
Or maybe come up with your own analogy, MASH, etc, etc.
Just positive thought for conversation...............
