Here we go with 2021

1.) Filling my truck with gas in January $35. Three months later, over $50.00

2.) Construction lumber: December I paid between $8-$12 a sheet of OSB, the next shipment coming mid April will be around $40 a sheet. A 2X4 from $1.85 now $8.00. Average new home construction up by $40k compared to last year. House prices are rocketing.

3.) Ammo, provided it is available by a slim chance, for my 338 Winchester Magnum now over $5.00 a bullet. Imagine that, over five bucks every time the trigger is pulled.

4.) Migrant apprehensions increased from December by 300% with funds moving from building a wall, to now endeavoring to manage a crises.

Interesting times, at least we have a new Gen3 to marvel about, distracting us from where things are going.

Hi. How about billions of $ to put then up in hotels. That money should be used to keep them out NOT IN BED. jellyrug make every bullet count. Why don't we give them free cars so the can go to buy stuff with all the free money we give them. A son said " dad what is welfare?" dad"' that is so they can go out and buy gold chains, rap music, and have more babies so they can get more money". I know welfare is very good because people do need it. I also say that some should get a drug test to get. Yes I am hard as I started to work at 14 and went to school too. In my 70's and still work. Lets keep Americans first then help who needs it most.

It's racist crap like this that makes me glad there's other things to do than read this section of this forum.
You should be ashamed of yourself but the problem is, you're not.

These kind of price increases will continue as domestic oil production is stifled by the EO that no more federal lands drilling permits are to be issued... and.. the funding for plugging wells is now in the works.... and transportation of crude oil via the new pipeline that isn't... is now canceled. Perhaps one big XL pipeline can effect the nationwide price of petroleum products. Hard to say as Warren Buffets fleet of rail tankers is now under contract.
2.) Construction lumber: December I paid between $8-$12 a sheet of OSB, the next shipment coming mid April will be around $40 a sheet. A 2X4 from $1.85 now $8.00. Average new home construction up by $40k compared to last year. House prices are rocketing.
Supply and demand in a booming housing industry has its own particular downside... It is what some builders are willing to pay... large builders with long term lumber contracts aren't paying those prices... yet...
3.) Ammo, provided it is available by a slim chance, for my 338 Winchester Magnum now over $5.00 a bullet. Imagine that, over five bucks every time the trigger is pulled.

Supply and demand again... JB is rivaling BO for record gun and ammo sales... people are not stupid.... when the conversation in DC starts rumoring gun confiscation people start stocking up. When people see the insidious corruption inside politics like they did recently they understand the threat that the founding fathers prepared us for. The 2nd A was born out of the fact that politicians can't be trusted to represent the people who give them consent to govern. When things get out of order in the ways that the people despise.... a revolution could be an option. That is how we freed ourselves from the King of England over 240 years ago. It only took 10% of the Patriots in the colonies to make it happen though it was a closely contested war that we almost lost. Will it happen again? Doubtful... few people have the will to resist a tyrannical government. The centers of influence have been successful at indoctrinating the masses for decades. To many sheep among us waiting for handouts to bite the hand that feeds them.

Be glad you can still fill up your tank.... just wait till gas rationing is on the table like is was once upon a time just 5 decades ago.

The border crisis is a well planned event to import a new underclass that the dimtards can use to gain votes. The arrival of those new illegal aliens claiming BS asylum status ( they are coached on what to say to Border agents by the coyotes ) discover which party is playing the biggest role in supporting them. Meanwhile... as the already established US resident minorities have moved forward economically the leftist marxist figured out they better engineer a way to get a new group of low skill and low wage people here so they could subsidize them and make them dependent on government. Now the feds are sending them to points north by bus and dumping them wherever they think they can get somebody to take care of them.

JB and KH won't even go to the border and look at what they started... and JB assigned KH to handle this flood of illegals... hmmmm... looks like its working perfectly for the next LBJ Great Society plan as it did for blacks in this country 50 plus years ago.

You didn't know that was what you voted for.... did you ?

1. Go electric!
2. That's called moving from a stagnant economy to a moving one.
3. How many targets you need to hit? (joking)
4. Notice they are still coming in at checkpoints. The funny thing is if the economy is going to heat up, we need them.

Oh and MPH, most people on welfare are white (fact).

There is a program, legal for migrant labor, without too much red tape.

LOL in target shooting for me, it is all about the mathematics. So I reload for velocity and accuracy. A gallon of gun powder goes a long way.

About white welfare: Had an interesting discussion with some of the building trades labor. They were all complaining about their buddies making more money in unemployment compared to their work in the trades. Moral of the story: “A smart mind without morals, is a menace to society.”

Personally, I probably share one value with the ancient Japanese. I would rather commit suicide than claim unemployment.

Perhaps that is because blacks only make up 6% of the population in the USA. How about on a percentage basis? Did LBJ's great society plan ( welfare ) make an impact on the black community starting back in the 60s?
Tell us the facts...

Hi. What I have seen people on welfare get jest enough money to live, but if they go to work they get a little more money than welfare but not enough to make it wort while. So lets teach them to fish and make a good living. I do not mean in a boat but in New Bedford Ma. you can make a good living doing it.

If you haven't noticed to tell tale signs of inflation are underway in an irreversible trend. Our small business segment of this country has been wiped out and that is the real economic sector that drives this country... Its not Walmart, Amazon and the other huge merchandizers moving made in chains ( China ) products that is fueling this economy in a big way... in fact, the price undercutting business has blossomed for a couple decades... the difference now is what covid did to small businesses ( less tax revenue and bankrupstsys rippling through the economy when the loans are not repaid ) coupled with massive money printing by the Fed. History shows us this does not end well.... fiat currencies end up circling the drain when the music stops. Lower and middle class people will be the hardest hit as the clown show in DC keeps rolling out the hits with unrestricted and rapidly expanding illegal immigration and all the other senseless programs they can come up with.

Immigrants, documented and undocumented, as a whole, help our economy.

Really ? people exercising lawless behavior as their first act when entering the country will make this a better country... did I hear that right?

Maybe you are correct... If Congress signs more stimulus money for mostly small business workers and those people stay home because they make more or as much money as they did when they were working... then, yes... the federal plan to subsidize people that are not working fits perfectly with hiring illegal aliens that will work for lower wages ( cash ) and not pay taxes at all.... what could go wrong with the federal budget then?

I know the solution... raise taxes on everybody else... you like that idea... right?

The reset is coming.... we passed the last exit ramp to a balanced budget a decade or more ago.

Obama is calling the shots now... he started this mess... Joes will finish it.

Can you explain why breaking the law leads to an improved economic condition?
You mean besides boosting the need for consumer goods, paying taxes and starting their own businesses? Immigrants, documented and undocumented, contribute to the GNP.

Really? You mean with the tax dollars our feds give them to launch their new illegally gotten temporary amnesty here inside out borders? Where was it... New York? If an illegal can get there we give them cash. One thing is clear... you don't believe borders serve a purpose and sovereignty as a nation is a joke... right?

Hi. Yes they do help GNP. If they work and not on welfair and they do not sent the money back across the boarder, or commit crimes that Americans do not want to do.

Sovereignty a necessary state but I don’t think borders serve much of a purpose. A little John Lennon in me I suppose.
Michael, again you assume immigrants want to or are prone to commit crimes more than US citizens.

Hi. A little sarcasm there, but check the % of crime. They commit 24% to 26% of crimes. I do not think they are 24% of the people in the USA.

This from pnas.org. Illegal immigrants per capita are roughly half as likely to commit crimes as US born citizens, with legal immigrants (which includes naturalized citizens) rating in between the two. Doesn’t mean they’re twice as moral as we have to factor in fear of being deported. It does show that Michael’s statement is way off base. People are generally the same all over the world.
