the 12 won't be

Sweet. I almost went with Ti on my new 10... Had it on the '05 636 I had for a while. EASY to maintain. Plexus and microfiber cloth is all it needs. When it came down to buying my second 10R though I just couldn't resist the brighter green on the '05.

I love my 10R. This one isn't goin' anywhere unless I wad it or it gets stolen. Anything else I own will have to be in addition to her. I'm convinced that the 10R is the best bike in the world for my current uses and wants.

Enjoy that bad boy... and be careful.

The 12 is green, so I had to get the ti.

How did you break in your 10's buy the book or another method? Put 220 miles on today and this 4000 rpm is just killing me, even more than the 12 did.
I done the hard break-in on the way home from the dealership, changed the oil before the next time I rode it and then rode it like I plan to ride it as long as I own it. The factory break-in is bullshit... Dodge is the only vehicle manufacturer willing to recommend the hard break-in though.

I was redlining and full compression braking several times in 2nd and 3rd gears before it had 20 miles on it (basically as soon as I got out of town). Made a few full throttle runs to 8-10K or so before that when traffic and popo (or lack thereof) allowed. Done the same thing on the first 10. She ran clean and strong and didn't use a drop of oil between changes. I'm convinced that a hard break-in is the right way.
