Tech tips front wheel / finding center.

There is significantly more brake binding after the adjustment. He is clearly putting more muscle in with two hands to move the wheel less after the adjustment whereas he spun it easily with one hand before the adjustment. No disrespect intended, but since he has been wrenching a long time he should know to stop and think about this poor result and not ride the bike with that much brake binding.

Assuming everything is torqued properly, perhaps these pads are well-worn according to the old alignment. Thus he should not reuse the same pads but this must be done with brand new pads.

I do not know motorcycle brake pads well. Could these be worn down quickly on the street? Even if yes, to me that still might generate too much heat in the short term for me.

He has other post both new rotors and pads. When he starts the pads and not even touching the rotors of course it’s not gonna spin as free.
