all I can say is , RAINSUIT AND RIDE. I have been across the mountain from Gatlinburg to Cherokee in the rain and it was a memorable experience. I got the true meaning of The Smoky Mountains that day. LOL

I once rode the Dragon many years ago on a late October evening in the rain and fog. I cannot say that I was going at a quick pace, but it is a ride that I will never forget.

Do not be afraid of wet pavement, respect it though.
