I talked with Stephen Holl for a while, and got his business card. He seemed very interested in feedback on the K8's mode select. I told him I didnt use it.

His title is "Senior Product Planning Specialist", he has previous experience in banking, He seems like a great guy, but not the right person for my "gearhead" 08 questions.

I think his thing is more Product Promotion and Planning.

A huge step in the right direction. With any of the big four taking time out to spend a weekend with a group of particular owners is acknowledging us and wanting OUR feedback.

The questioner was just a part of the equation. Both were there to see, listen and learn about Suzuki flagship. I am sure you will see suggestions made on the forms make it into production./.....a radial master on the 08....bet you will see that one soon.

I have been attending different rallies for many years. With the factories taking a step to be there is awesome!!!!!!!

Questions included what features we wanted to see on future models. How would you rate 10 different features, such as engine displacement, gear indicator, etc. Why did you purchase the Hayabusa? Questions like that. It was pretty cool to talk to those guys.

Aki talked to my wife about her Katana, he even told her the 750 Katana engine was one of his favorites. She was very impressed.

Thanks for coming Steve and Aki!

+1 They seemed to be listening to what everyone was saying...certainly doesn't mean we all get our wish list granted next time around, but it's opened the door to something we've NEVER had here on the oRg or any other Busa site...

I'm thankful that they took the time to hang with the h.oRg crew...

It was great talking to them both and answering any questions that they had...

I didn't get to talk with Steve much, but Aki and I spent several minutes in conversation on three different occasions. The one thing I would add to what has been said above is that they seemed overwhelmed with the dedication and love that Busa owners show to the bike.

I told Aki that my financial / social director has provided tentative approval for me to buy an '09 provided that it be a 10th Year Anniversary Edition schemed after the '99 Copper and Silver and he said the '09's were already being decided upon and it might be too late.

He then assured me that they would produce at least one.... for me!

At least thats the way I remember the conversation.

Very cool, indeed. Of all the items at the bash, and as great as it would have been to hang with ya'llz, that's what I would have liked to participate in most.

Hat's off to all of you.
