This ought to be interesting... in the wake of the pandemic, the 2020 Supercross series came to an abrupt halt after 10 races had been run. Now they are going to run 7 more races starting may 31, all in Salt Lake City, UTAH! I am ready to see some races as much as the next guy but this is just going to be weird! With no fans in the stands are they going to pipe in crowd noise? Can only imagine other pro sports will be watching closely to see how this pans out.
Is this the first phase of the new normal?
2020 Supercross Series to Resume May 31st
The 2020 Monster Energy AMA Supercross series is set to resume May 31st. The seven remaining rounds will take place in Utah's Rice Echles stadium.
