I ran Avons on my previous Busa running 200s. Not sure how the gen 3 works work all the tech and how it will fit the wheel. I do both straights and bendies but I'm not pushing my limits on the turns. Was thinking of the Perilli Diablo Rosso 4. Any thoughts?

The good news is lots of bikes come with a 200 rear tire from the factory so there are many different brands to choose from....

Asking anyone here about tires will lead you down a rabbit hole....

I've run Bridgestone tires pretty much since I've been riding bikes...

I did a slight detour to Michelins but went back to Bridgestones on the Bumblebee and when they run out, I will get another set of Bridgestones...

Others swear by other brands.....if you ask 20 members, you'll get at least 15 different answers.....

Yes I do a lot of touring

A Busa is a Busa, regardless if it's a Gen1, 2, or 3...they're All heavy, with alot of torque...and they like to eat back tires.
Years ago on my Gen2, I switched to running a front sport tire, and a rear sport touring tire, and that let both tires wear out at about the same mileage, vs a set of sport tires, where the front lasted about twice as long as the rear.
I don't like to give up any grip on the front from harder compound tires, and my riding style gets me about 2k to 2300 miles per set, on a Busa.
I use front and rear sport tires on the 1000's, as they have much less weight and torque, and I can get up to 3500-4k a set.
I personally like the Dunlop Q series, and have run them all over the years, with the exception of the Q5 S or A.
I like the grip, and the feel of the carcass's flex vs psi, compared to many other tires I've ridden on.

I’m seriously thinking of a 200 tire on the rear just for the look of it.
I’ll monitor this thread
A 200/55 does look cooler than the stock sized tire. The tail rides a little higher and the tire profile is more elliptical rather than circular. The shape helps counteract the flattening off of the center tread. It still looks normal when it's worn out on the middle.
