Starter clutch

Just finished building our turbo busa and it has already gone through 3 starter clutches, and I just pulled it off the dyno.

Any idea's you folks may have would be great.

Do you mean the overrun clutch on the starter gear? It sounds like the starter may not be disengaging all of the way, thereby burning up the clutch.

Disclaimer: I am a part time vehicle mechanic. This is only semi-pro advise. (Is there anything else on the internet?)
