Probably been asked before but here goes anyway. Do you know if changing the rear sprocket affects the odometer(as far as the mileage goes)? example, is a mile traveled with a 43 tooth sprocket the same as a stock one(40 tooth)? I have a 06 busa that has 10000 miles and I changed the rear sprocket to a 43 when it had about 500 miles on it. I know it affects the speedo but wasn't sure about the mileage.

Actually when you factor in the terribly optimistic Busa speedo, at least on mine, it's 15%! So 10k indicated is 8500 +- actual miles, with 43 tooth rear.

If you keep raising the teeth in the back...you'll eventually correct the speedo..........
