sprocket change

Did I miss something or did I go the wrong way with the speed sensor bolt. Today I tried to change the primary sprocket, only to strip out the allen bolt hole trying to loosing it in the CCW direction. Did I f&#@ this up???

which allen head are you reffering to......the one that holds the sensor on the sprocket cover or the one the bigger one that screws into the countershaft?

I'm talking about the large one which holds the speed sensor to the countershaft. Lefty loosy, right tighty, correct???

left does loosen and right tightens. might have to get a new bolt. i think you can cut a slash across the stripped one with a dremel. and use a straight screwdriver to get it out.
