I've often heard about guys having shaft journals that are worn below spec "spray welded", but I've never seen the process,
. . . well, thanks to the fantastic youtube videos now accessible to the mere mortal (you and I) here is a vid of Adam ( a talented machinist) doing exactly that . . spray welding.
