Sport Rider mag was messing with a $1400 AKRA? pipe on a stock GSXR1000 and gained 7hp? I forget if they remapped... I THOUGHT they did not... anyway... that seems very high from all I read. Are their pipes for stock busa that add that much? with or without remapping?

BDE GEN3 STREETSMART FULL. Do the airbox mod, PAIR REMOVAL and PC map and you'll get anywhere between 7-15 rwhp. Dyno tune and you should get better results.

I picked up 10 hp on my GSXR1000 with a full system and map. Nothing else done to the bike.

I picked up 17+ RWHP by adding a pair of Yosh RS3's, PCIIIUSB and map with the Airbox mod and a K&N, but lost bottom end grunt around 1500-3500 RPM.  Wasn't worth the loss of bottom TQ even with the high end gains...IMO.  Every bike I ever modded without engine did the same damn thing.  That's why I left my ZX10R bone stock.  Aftermarket pipes sound great, but the cost of getting back the bottom end TQ just ain't worth it.
