NICE! My Father in Law is a some medium high Mucky Muck out there at the Cape. Lives in Titusville now.

I've had a couple of tours and the VAB is just hard to understand... The thing is so big.

This begs the question what will the Space Shuttle replacement look like? I heard they were to be phased out by 2010? Sounds just like the "When are we getting a new Hayabusa" Line!

I personally wish we could hurry the heck up and get someone on Mars. Been reading about it since I was a kid and we still haven't been anywhere but the moon (cool as that is).

Here's a couple more pics Loraine sent me today. These are of STS-117 featuring the orbiter Atlantis on the way to the pad yesterday. She's scheduled for a March 15 launch on a space station mission. Let's wish them luck. I need to get her to sneak a Kanji decal on one of those beasts.
