I was thinking about going to school for the ATC, and I decided I'm not gonna do it.

Unfortunately, I've come to the conclusion that it probably isn't for me. I'm bipolar (not horribly, but I get VERY depressed at times for no reason), and I figure, having peoples lives in my hands when I get depressed ain't the best thing. Plus, my bipolarness and the stress of full time school while trying to help mom with bills at the house (which means a full time job), wouldn't mix. Sorry for taking your time Charlesbusa, but thanks for the help and encouragement. And everyone else that helped, thank you. I might go with Rubbah's Idea though, I just need to start workin out, and training, then find a Body guard job, or be a Bouncer.........

You need to start with some basics here Ben...what do you like? What types of things do you enjoy doing (keep it clean) and go from there...you like motorcycles? Learn how to fix 'em and make it a career. You like computers, go to a trade school for some hands on teaching and run with it...you like painting pictures of pretty flowers and dancing in fields of wheat, well, ummm, keep that under wraps and go with plan B

You'll figure something out, but most important is to find something you truly enjoy doing...don't be like many of us, just doing a job because it's where you find yourself...you'll spend a lot of time wondering what else there is in life...if you're going to get paid, get paid for doing something you like...

Just think, after a year or two you might make head fry cook with a possibility of going straight to the top at head cashier. But let's not get carried away, that cashier dream position is a ways off.

You could get alittle crazy and throw a spin on your greeting "Welcome to McD's, can i take your order(here's the craziness)Would you like some ketchup with that?" If your feeling REALLY freaky you could add "How about some salt n'peppa?" Whoa!, that's pushin the evelope, you may want to take it alittle slower your first few days.

I'm actually thinking of bulking up and becoming a Body Guard... Thinking of moving down to VA Beach, a friend of my dad's teaches Wing Chung (think Bruce Lee), if I learn that, and get some muscle, my size could work for me as a bodyguard.....

Most of it is intimidation, and the rest is learning how to effectivly "escort" someone out of the bar without hurting them or yourself. Once the problem customer is outside, it's the police's problem to which if there's a real problem, they're usually waiting outside anyway.
If you want to try out bouncing, Dave can hook you up with some weekend work up in NoVa. I do it sometimes to make quick cash. It's mostly under the table money, so your cash in hand that night.
