I took a week off work and headed up north to Maine to play in the snow. I loaded up the quad and headed out Friday around 12pm and 22 hours later with only a 20 min. power nap in CT I made it up here at 10am Saturday.
Only to find out that my buddy forgot to tell me that they got about 2 feet of snow New Years Eve and in to the next day. He now has over 3 feet of snow in his front yard and over 2 feet around the rest of the house. I started breaking through the snow bank but wasn't getting very far but I wasn't going to give up. I brought this thing up here to ride and by god I'm going to ride. After a few mins. I broke through only to sink up to my nose.
It took us about 20 mins to get her free.
Today I made a track around his house getting stuck a few more times but at least this time I was able to use the winch to get out.
Tomorrow I may try to forage out in to the woods.
