Slow ride

So here I am passing the last turnout for a mile, and I come around a corner and see... NOOO!

This thing is belching diesel exhaust at 25 miles per hour and there's nothing but blind curves for the next mile. (cough,cough)  The driver pulled over at the next turnout though.

Heh, Yeah, thats when I give the little school kids a thrill and just go bombing past.  I like to see their little faces pressed up against the windows...

See in Colorado there are turn outs, but NOBODY seems to know what they are for.  So when you get caught behind the the Motor home convoy from Nebraska, Passing "zone" soon starts to mean something much different than what you read in the books...  

In Florida...Well it never really comes up no mountains...NOTHING!!!! No place to go where the Air cools off or is sorta fresh, no escape. Then winter comes, weather turns perfect and the roads are clogged with aggresively SLOW bluehairs and tourists... Damned either way....

Do you have a handle bar (fairing)  mounted camera, it's just like riding along with the Nascar boys on espn  

Love the diesel smell in the fall

Been there Big O! Isn't it fun!? It at leasts hones your skills for maintaining legal speed and staying upright when barely moving! That can be good for something, right?!

About 7 of us took some back roads home a few months back (I was on my Harley)...we got about 1/2 mile in to the road and were riding so slow you could drag your feet...FARM EQUIPMENT en route to some place miles away, and we took the slooooooow ride for a while!

It is Nice in AZ. They go to the trouble of putting in passing lanes on most all of the big hills
