Slip On Muffler Question

Does removal of the stock mufflers do anything other than take away the additional catalytic converters?
Do you need a tune to make slip on mufflers work right?

You can put whichever mufflers you want on it without a tune.
You can run a full exhaust with no tune and not harm anything either, but it will run much better with a good dyno tune.

i run a yoshi R 77 slipons with no tune. I notice a slight dip in torque in low revs, i am guessing due to less back pressure.. but otherwise smooth power
Back Pressure is a yes and no. The fuel targets are only going to be a tad off but.... if you get her unlocked and tuned you'll get it all back and some.

I wish Suzuki had a staged direct injection and port injection on the 2022+ model and knock sensors & factory wide band for the love of god. DAM could adjust the ignition table depending on fuel quality & minor mod changes. If they had direct injection we could have a 1500cc with better emissions & more POOOOWER. But... no
