hi all

just did a chain and sproket change on the busa. got zzz chain. everything is stock, but when i tightened up the chain it was pretty close to the end. i was wondering if i should remove a link to make it a little shorter and give me some room for adjustment. i hope the pic i took comes through.

thanks
john

Looks like you still have a little room for adjustment, Personally I would ride it and see how much the chain stretches, Little hard to tell but I think you will be ok

I don't want to be the first one asking dumb questions, but is the link the same count as the oem? it won't hurt if you double check.

That looks like plenty of room for a lot more adjustment. You should be just fine.

do you have any plans on swapping to a different tooth count rear sprocket? Unless you end up going with a lower tooth count I wouldn't worry about your current setup. The way you have it will allow you to add a tooth or two with no problems.

A number of visible marks is exactly how I see it on mine which has a stock chain length. So, your chain lenght seems to be the same as your stock chain length was.

That will be fine until it stretches.
As long as you can see a couple of marks that is OK.
