Shift Light?

How many of you have set up the shift light?

When I bought my 08 new, I have never set up the shift light.

Used it for running in was well handy for that, still left set on 10500

Mine is set up and on.. because you never know when you might use it.. I think its cool to have it from the factory.. I love it..

been so long since i've used it i may have to break out the owner's manual to figure out how to set it again

Have it set at 10750. To the blink setting so by the time it starts flashing I shift right at red line.

Mine never worked, neither did my guage light dimmer. Dealer didn't even know the Busa's had them...big shock.
Does anyone else's dimmer work on their gen2? My friend has an 08 and his doesn't work either. It doesn't bother me enough to give my bike to the dealer for weeks on end for nothing, just curious.

wish the gen 1s would of come with em..if i had one, id keep it set for the "times you might need it".

IMO the location of the light leaves something to be desired. It is worthless for me as I can only see it sometimes. I went ahead and purchased boostbysmiths shift light and I'm completely happy with it. If Suzuki would gave placed the light somewhere on the top of the cluster instead of on the bottom it would make it useable.

I have mine set...don't see it unless it is dark out.

Use mine regularly. have it on the brightest setting and never take my eyes off the track! love it!

The dimmer is only for the shift light. Not the rest of the dash.
