Shift light waterproof?

So im in the market for a good shift light. My airmada helmet is loud as crap at higher speeds and the bike is too smooth for me to have a good enough feel to really dial in these shifts. I planned on going with the raptor and mounting it up high off center under the windscreen where it hits me in the face (im tall and cant see the gauges for chit while tucked in.)My dilema is concern of it getting wet while the bike is sitting in a storm at work, washing ect. Anybody have experience with a light mounted other than on top of the dash where it gets exposed to the elements?

What year is your bike?

Gen 2's have a built in light. I have not had an issue with water intrusion.

Is a 2013. Yea i got that but thanks. Anybody else before i oull the trigger on a raptor or msd or???
