Hey guys...

I did the 24v mod to my bike years ago. Lately, I had to replace the second batt... it's in my tail section. Anyway the one before this one, only lasted about 6 months and would not charge. I left it on the charger over night and and the post melted. So..2 months ago went and bought a new mini battery. About 3 weeks ago I went to start it and I heard a "electrical short sound" but it started. I heard it again this morning twice. But then it started. Went to work and when I left it started there with no problem. Got home and parked it outside. Went to start it to pull into garage and I just heard this click pop coming from the rear. Walked it in the garage and pulled the cowl off. Pulled the tape I had on the post covering them and the neg side was loose. Figured that was the problem until I got the tape off. When I looked at it, my neg post was a crumbled mess. Like it got to hot then got brittle and broke. Since I had the batt I have put it on trickle charger a few times with no issue. Not sure why on both of my last 2 batt the neg post burns up...

Your thoughts?:please:???
