By all accounts this is a true statement(not that I doubt you).
I give the man his due respect for it all too, and appreciate that a leader possess's such qualities...vs a wimpy career politician.
My serious question is; is he really a bad guy??
I ask this because the only info we the general public have on him(outside of you military guys with a better know-how of what's going on in the world) is what the media/aka propeganda machine tells us.
I disagree with socialism and dictartorships as well...but does he really belive he's doing what is best for his country, or is he a power-hungry man who rules with an iron fist?
He seemed willing to work with Trump for the better of both nations...or was there an underlying plot?
Is Russia really an enemy of the west, or the world, or are other world leaders simply playing politics with them because they can?
My uninformed take on it all has always been that if Putin wanted to start a war, he could, and he would be a serious force to be reckoned with, yet he has yet to do so.
What is really going on?
Well as he was a former KGB agent and a definite enemy of the west....how much do you think he has changed? I believe he humors the west and definitely humored Trump (the two had a lot in common).

Take a look at what happened to the people who crossed him-poisoned....and imprisoned...

Not a nice guy....

We have other countries (including my own) meddling in this and taking sides...do we hear the words "cold war" and "Iron curtain" being a thing again I wonder...?

China has been allowed to gain a foot hold on the world and along with Russia, I can see these two teaming up and becoming a dominate force.

This incursion into Ukraine by the west will most definitely result in another cold war as the western nations are overtly sending defensive weapon systems to bolster the Ukrainian defenses...

This is the same contrast to Russia overtly sending weapons to the enemies of the west to be used against them...

The US and Russian have covertly been supplying arms and training to each other's enemies for years and years...but there wasn't a whole lot of open talk of it like there is now in the Ukraine

What I don't get is the US is stating Russia could invade Ukraine at any time yet there are still NATO troops in country...you'd think countries would have some common sense and remove their troops and assets until the situation stabilizes....

When the Russians sweep into the country, they won't have time to pick and choose their targets...knowing this, countries who leave their people in there should be held criminally responsible if anything should happen to them.

Who exactly are NATO troops anyway?
Are they multiple country's soldiers appointed to a position under U.N control?

They are the troops who's parent countries are members of NATO (North Atlantic Treaty Organization)....your former president was trying to pull the US out of NATO...which would have been a disaster for both the US and NATO

The UN is a whole other organization...

Russia doesn't want Ukraine to become a member as they don't want a NATO country for a neighbor...this is the 'nuts and bolts' of why Russia is saber rattling..

If NATO just let Ukraine join years ago we wouldn’t have this problem today. I’m 3/4 Ukrainian and Ukrainians hate Russians due to what they did to us. We actually praised the Germans and Nazi as hero for liberating us from Russia. But the flip side is that Ukraine harbours a lot of aryan and white supremacy even today not all Ukrainians of course but it is pretty rampant. I would go to eat for Ukraine in a heart beat, Canada and Ukraine are very close trading partners more then what people would suspect.

I served with lots of western Canadian soldiers who's families originated in the Ukraine...there are lots of Ukrainian descendants out there (obviously including yourself.

The Russians ran rough-shod over everyone they encountered during WW2....and they were merciless to them...

Russia is just chomping at the bit to get into the Ukraine...hopefully common sense prevails and they keep out of there.

What does Russia gain if they take over Ukrain?
What is the end-game in all of this?
Since Putin (Russia) is with Trump and the white hats....because they have cited with us....they will get some homeland back (part of the deal) to go against the fake pandemic world take over of humanity.

The devil globalist will go to gitmo, and get hanged....as should.
