rode a stock 08 tonight...

i got to ride my buddies 08 busa at the track tonight. only got to make 5 passes on it, but she ran pretty hard. the bike is lowered with a brock pipe and PC, 100% stock clutch, stock gearing, etc.


my last pass looked like this:

9.25 @156

the best part is the bike has 24k miles on it! if i can talk him into putting a clutch mod in it and a small gearing change, this thing will fly! i've said it a hundred times, but SWB bikes are SO much fun to ride, love em'!

Curious as to what RPM your launching at?

Stock wheelbase?

What do you weigh?

yes stock wheelbase. i was 159 in gym clothes a couple days ago, so probably 170-175 suited. i was launching around 5400. if you're not very aggressive on the throttle, you'll want to launch a bit higher.

Went back to old shinko and kept clutch mods had a 1.46 and 1.48 60 but couldn't Finish the run on stock 08
