Rio Rancho Toy Run 2005

Just got back from the 2005 Rio Rancho Toy Run. It was a great ride. This year there were three Busas out there, the rest were cruisers and a mixture of other sports bikes... lots of riders and a fun time.
Started at the Pasta House as usual for the group I ride with.

The crowd outside Crossroads Motorcycle Shop, gathered up here and then went on a short ride.

Ended up at the Italian American Club.

Looking down the street from the Italian American Club. They estimated around 2000 bikes this year. I am not sure, but some of the riders say they walked half a mile to get back to the party.

The Honor Guard from the local High School was on scene.

Red 04 Busa... dyno'd at 5000 feet elevation at 257 hp running 8.7 in 1/4 mile. plans are to increase hp to around 500...

Final counts was 3000 bikes. Reported 6 mile line of bikes traveling over a 25 mile ride. Local food bank was overwhelmed with canned foods and the local kids programs and police recieved over 3000 toys and stuffed animals for their programs.
