Replace low-beam bulb

A couple of quick questions. I desided to replace my low beam bulb with a Sylvania Cool Blue. How do you get the retaining clip out that holds the bulb in place? And, the terminals I see don't have the same spacing as the bulb, is this just a holder / socket?

Are you sure you got a 9005 headlamp? Should be a simple swap.

There is an adapter on the old bulb that you have to swap to the new one (it just pulls off). The spring clip is kinda a pain cause it is hard to see what you are doing. I first push in and then move it to one side (after many attempts). I am not sure how else to describe it. Good luck.
