I did a search for an online manual and didn't find anything.

Looks easy enough with x4 10mm bolts above the rear tire but they look like they have locknuts above it. How do I gain access to it?

I'm plannin to do a full LED setup under the fairings for lighting up the bike at night....hehe

thanks

No lock nuts at all. The nuts are welded to the tail from inside so they aren't going anywhere when you take the bolts out. The only thing to look for is that you can't access the plug to unhook the plate light. You might have to take out some of the tail section bolts to access it. Otherwise it's an easy mod to do.

Some people have more trouble getting the reflectors off...

They are tight but also have a healthy amount of thread locker so they are a PITA to get out the first few times... ;)

I did the Hot Bodies Undertail which looks really nice, but I had to cut the stock under off with dremel.

I spent the better part of my evening trying to loosen those 4 bolts that hold the rear fender/plate bracket assembly....

It's not just tight - I can turn it but it feels like the upper nut is rotating with it since it won't loosen! grrr

how can I gain access to the bolts inside the rear seat?

I will be installing the RUMBLE CONCEPT Fender eliminator kit on mine this Thursday.
So any more help/suggestions on this would be appreciated.

Thanks

I ran into the same problem. After spending the good part of the evening trying to get those bolts to hold, I just ended up removing the rear. Took about 10 minutes and it was a done deal. Wish I had done that from the start.

If you disconnect the cable that operates the lock for the Hump / Rear Seat make sure it's reconnected before throwing the hump or seat on.
