Gen1, stock rear fender, dremel

without doing an undertail, how much success are people having just dremeling the part of the fender under the tag? i'm ok with the stock tag and blinker placement, just not the extra foot of fender hanging down below the tag.

no dremel, just a sharp utility knife.
but i cut a little too much under the trunk, and exposed the trunk cavity.
gotta patch it.

Here's couple pics of mine done. Didn't have to buy anything. Used existing tag bracket and everything. Is Solid. Tools used were Razor knife,sand paper and Lighter. Just go at it easy. You can make several swipes with the knife. Score with the first pass then go deeper with each pass afterward. Use sand paper to take off and little burs(so to speak). Then hit with lighter to melt it some to give it factory appearance. Good Luck. Sorry crappy Cell pics.

Full face shield, dremmel with cutting disc and 30 sec!

Used sharp knife and file to even and smooth out the cut and your done.
