I just had a local shop swap out my OEM rear caliper for one that has been chromed. They said they used all of the hardware from my original caliper. The problem that I have now that I didn't have before is brake squeal. They said that while bleeding the brakes, fluid got on the rotor and possibly the pads. My question is would brake fluid on the pads and or rotor cause brake squeal? They told me that they cleaned if off as best they could. I would think that after a 45 minute to hour ride that the residual fluid on the pads and rotor would be gone. The brakes grab with no problem, it's just that annoying squeal that I want to eliminate. Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
