Real guages

Has anyone ever installed a real numbered engine temp. guage
on the Hayabusa? I think it would be nice to have a real temp.
guage where the existing one is. One that has increments of degrees, so you'll see exactly what temp. your engine is at?
Would it be better to read oil temp. or water temp as an accurate indication of engine heat? Prob. Oil huh?

Mechanical gauges would probably be more accurate but the install would be more difficult,I couldnt really say why the manufacturers prefer electronic,maybe its a cost thing.The water temp is I feel is the best for engine temp.
