I got an '06 and about a year ago I went to my garage to notice
a puddle under Celine. Turned out to be a radiator (which I replaced)

So today going to work, she starts smoking a bit.
I get there and notice water spots and fluid on both
sides of the plastics at the engine ventilation slots.

I get a light and see...my radiator is wet and a nice
purple puddle under the bike again.

WTF-I use engine ice. I know it's my dialy rider and I got 24,000
on her but a radiator ought to be good for more than 12,000 miles.
What are they making these things out of...tin foil? :banghead:

I was thinking it was abraded through myself... sounds like a pretty good size leak if it is coming out both sides of the plastics..

Yeah I got SS brake lines...don't know any more details about the leak
till I get home and get it off.

I think I'll try and just have the radiator fixed locally.

Allright ladies and germs...

Took it to a local shop and got it fixed for $26 plus the cost of more engine ice (due for flush anyway).

What I found out was, I run HMF dual highrise and I used header wrap.
Well the header wrap was smashing my fan into my radiator
Saw the ring of death when I took it off.
(which is why I prolly went thru 2 of em :banghead:)

I trimmed the shroud on my fan slightly and it's not touching now.

She's all back togather and buttoned up, hope it lasts but I'm
not anticipating any more problems. I think this one is whipped.

BTW-I hate header wrap...if and when I ever do another exhaust on
a sportbike...it's getting ceramic or Jet coated.
