Radiator fans

I was thinking of putting another fan on the busa . Will 2 factory fans fit? Just wire them together? Overload? I have a Muzzy on it now, & while the bike is apart ,I thought I'd upgrade...

You can run 2 fans but I think one has to be smaller like a GSXR1000 or 600 fan.

GIXERHP has a post where he does a step by step of intalling a second fan on the Busa. And as R2B said, it needs to be a smaller gsxr fan.

just did this mod last weekend using the Gixxer 1K fan and it turned out fine.

tremendous increase in air flow.

be sure to tilt the radiator forward during install for a bit more working room (It's still very tight working but it does fit).

don't do what I did. both fans share the bottom center bolt and I only started a couple of threads while I was figuring out what I needed for the second and third mounts.
when I had everything together I realized I forgot to tighten down that center bolt.

the Mrs saved my bacon with her small hands, got in there herself and finished the project. What a woman!

I bought a fan off a 600.. Does Muzzy make a fan blade for those fans? I couldnt find any on Ebay.. ( Muzzy that is ) .

Tha fan I have is off a 2006 gsxr 600.. All the blades are connected as one unit .Looks like the shroud is made in the blades ..I didnt see any fan listed foor that year?
