Is the headlight cover just a piece of plastic, or is it a sealed unit?

I guess a better question is, if the headlight is scratched, can you just replace a piece of plastic rather than the whole light?

Bike is not in front of me or Id look myself

its sealed on there, tho it can be taken apart, but ive never done it.

I have seen where people have added the angle eye mod to the headlight and you have to take the front off for that. So it is possible, but they also put it in the oven to heat up the glue to remove it. So...

Just how bad is the scratch ? Mothers makes a lens (for cars) scratch remover wax, by buffing it out.

Is able to be separated,but if need a new one you have to buy the whole light assembly.
