So I just received my turbo system a week or so ago and am starting the build process.

I had a buddy at work that drags tell me it would be a necessity to install the Brock's Clutch Mod even though I don't drag. I have installed the Heavy Duty clutch springs and the Slave Support. My question is would it be a good idea to install the clutch mod? Is this a good idea if I only plan to ride on the street and not drag it?

Please let me know if any of you who just street ride have this mod done, or is it strictly for the track?

Thanks for your reply!! :beerchug:

Clutch will slip in a turbo bike with welded or 1 piece clutch mod

you don't need the clutch mod, just run the stock setup with some heavy springs.

Mine's only a Stage 1(RCC)making 261 hp with stock clutch(original OEM plates with 21,000 miles)and 3 heavy/3 stock springs,and even with my lard ass(250 lbs.)have never experienced any slippage(street only with 100's of roll ons).
