as a SPort bike rider of many years and being new to the Busa fold I am curious . I notice a lot of pilots running Shinko's . Especially the drag racers
In my previous life we ran Michellins and Dunlops and all the usual "performance" brands . So I am wondering Is there something about the Shinkos that are especially good for drag racing and extra wise tyre set ups? they seem very popular and it got me curious
Thank you for any information

The Ultra Soft is a fair street/strip tire The Hookup better yet. If you decide to go with a slick. I would NOT recommend the Shinko slick. Go with the Mickey 3221

I’m running a Shinto Verge x2. Like 1busa said it’s cheep. I don’t feel bad doing the block long smoke show burnout on a $120 tire.

Hookups are a good tire for street and track. Shinko flat slicks suck. I never got my bike to work with one so I went back to a hookup

Interesting and thank you all for the information. Looks like I need a spare rear wheel and a specialty rear tyre :)
