Question about Bad cranks??

I was just wondering if someone fries a rod, and blackens the Journal, if the crank is good anymore?

I rebuilt a bike for a buddy, and now I have this crank sitting here, and not sure if it can be fixed, or if it's a scrap piece?

Anyone wanna chime in?

Now on another note here, if it one journal yes repair, if more get an estimate. You may be able to buy a used crank cheaper.
