i am trying to pull the head off the busa as i am typing this, but i ran into some trouble, the front two corner head bolts are too long to pull out and the bolt on the right side of the head that keeps the timing chain from falling cannot be removed while the engine is in the stock position. is there a trick to this without at least titling the motor?

I think you'll have to rock the engine, if not take it out completely. The service manual says remove engine.

I've heard there is a trick to getting it off while the lower end is still in the bike, but what that trick is I do not know.

i was able to get the bolts out by raising the head at an angle and they pulled out, and a friend of mine stopped over and loosened the bolt that holds the timing chain up from inside the head with a pair of channel locks. head and jug are now off the bike
