The National Defecit was largely inherited from the Bush administration, and the defecit has fallen somewhat from when Obama first took office.
LMAO! the national debt rose $4.899 trillion during the TWO terms of the Bush presidency. It has now gone up $4.939 trillion since Obama took office. that's ONE term so maybe you should address some of ur own falsehoods.... carry on.

And Bush had what major recession to deal with in his term? Yeah...Good point you've got there, really.

As a follow up:

National Deficit for 2009 (Approved by the Bush Administration in late 2008 before Obama took office): 1.413 Trillion
National Deficit under Obama by year:
2010: 1.293 Trillion
2011: 1.3 Trillion
2012: 1.089 Trillion
2013 estimate: 0.901 Billion

As you can see the deficit has fallen by more than 500 billion dollars in the first term of his Presidency. Once you factor in the huge costs that were accrued over those years due to multiple massive economic collapses and two unfunded and costly wars, Obama has actually done quite well overall.

Facts don't work, getting your silly world view spanked in an election where even billions couldn't sell the Republican sack of crap. I'm starting to think maybe there is no way to B-slap a republican out of it.....

So tell me where Obama and Bush are different?

America Voted so it is what it is....................Why Obama ? I just don't understand. Our Debt is Larger. Unemployment Higher. Gas Prices are Higher. If you owned America and I was Obama.................

I think I would Deserve to be FIRED !!! I did not do my Job !!! Why give me 4 more years with your Money. YES.....................YOUR MONEY !!! That means if and when I Fail again. It's with YOUR MONEY !!!

Robert

You're on the right track, but I think you're looking at it a bit skewed. We may own America and the the President is the President (whomever it may be), but the President is the President of the Federal Government which is, IMHO, a 3rd party provider that America (us) contacts with every 4 years. So I think the question is not about why go with the same president, rather "Why go with the same company?". Why fire one individual when you have a company whose entire culture is self-serving, dishonest and irresponsible?

The people are accountable to the government and the government is accountable to no one (regardless of who is president). That's a problem, don'cha think?

yeah, I tend to think that the REAL issue is that people still believe that there's more different between the parties, especially economically, than there is similar.

Nay. The people get what the government gives.

The money makes the rules and the rules make the money. :banghead:

Those that work for a living were outvoted by those that vote for a living

Are we Better Off Today then 4 Years Ago ? ???

Heck no. Lost a 14+ year military career due to our feds' inability to pass a budget. Lucky to have a job now... at a 50% pay cut. Lost retirement I'd needed, and other benefits. Starting over at 40.

Gee. THANKS, Uncle Sam!

Not.

Happy to still have the bike... she's one good thing to look forward to each day.

Was reading an article earlier today... will try to find it. Wars aren't the expensive thing... entitlements are (government retirements, especially... darnit!)

Lost my military career/potential active duty retirement. Can't wait to be told they'll take my federal gov't retirement one day, too, now that I'm a new federal employee...
