I was able to visit with him last night. He is in good spirits. Surgery is scheduled for 4PM today. I'm greatful I have a boss that is flexible for family. I'm staying with my Mom in a hotel for a couple of days for moral support.

The surgeon had to take the whole lung. Dad's being closed up now. He'll be moving to recovery soon.

I am sure he will be fine. My Grandma lived 64 years with only part of a lung (TB).
Keep up with the positive thoughts and know that you and your family have a lot of people here praying and pulling for him.
