Power Hook Up Question

Hey all,

So on my dads Busa we have already hooked up a power port in the hump to the junction point in the back near the rear tail light.

Last year he got Hand warmers that go under his handle grips and he hooked them straight to the battery. Which, they work fine....until you forget to turn them off and your stranded some where with a dead battery.:banghead:

So my question is, where can I hook the hand warmers so that they shut off with the bike?
Can I hook them to the rail tail light junction point, or is that too much load?
Or is there a better spot closer to the front?

Thanks All.

Get a boost by smith harness and it hooks to the running light circuit in the front. Plug and play, no splicing.

Sounds good.

He has an 08, is there something with it that shows what connector behind the gauges that I have to disconnect?

Yeah, once you get the gauges out of the way (which is simple) it's fairly self explanatory.
