Power Commander 3 MAPS Stubby Exhaust

Hey guys, I got some stubby exhaust with some cheapo baffles and the bike is doing a lot of backfiring when held at constant throttle. I am looking for a map that is tuned for this setup...any ideas on where I could find one, PC website was not much help at all. Its a 2000 hayabusa with K&N filter

find the crappiest muffler slipon map you can find. that should get you close to where you need to be. thats what i did. She runs great!!!!

Alot of the maps from Dyno arent that good,,you have to tweak them,,and if your backfire is happening when you let off the throttle,,chances are its backpressure going to the valves,cold air goes in causeing this,,which is common with s short pipe ,exspecially if theres not much baffles inside,,I had this happen alot when I was running open headers on my cars,,,but if its when happening[as you said] at a steady throttle,then its something different,,send me you map that your useing and the rpm range when it happens the most and at what throttle postion,,,,,,,

If that is all thats done, you dont need a map. All the generic ones are just that GENERIC, and may as well not even have a map in there. Just do the Pair valve mod and you should cure that backfiring issue. (I believe). The smartest option would be to take bike to dyno Tuner and get a custom map for your bike.

i cant send it to you cause i have an 08. Look for the map that uses Two Brothers Slip ons with stock filter/ K&N filter. That should do the trick for ya.

I had the same problem ,so this is what worked for me ,on my 04 I just used the 02 busa stock with stock exhaust map ,it runs much better no back fire.
