that bike is ugly... the tail with the weird turn signals ruins the whole rear end looks like a small cars rear end. the front not as bad except the head light looks like all the other bikes out there with the two points up top of the lamp lens. Im glad I have an 06 model and won't be selling it for for the 08..

(Pipefighter248 @ Jul. 20 2007,15:43) I would say that Barry from Velocity has.
Roger told me that they wanted to dyno it, but Suzuki has made it firm that it will not be dyno'd.
Can't wait to see what Barry can do to it.
So was it there just as a model or was it actually for sale? Seems about 2 months too soon to see one in the showrooms, is it October already?
I also thought I read that the black/charcoal was going to be the first to the showroom.

Did the guy say anything about the white/grey being available in the U.S.?

Thanks for the pics bro!

Love the blue. The gold wheels would be gone prior to riding it from the dealer. Still don't like the tail feathers. I will keep my '06, but reserve the right to change my mind.

Those of us that surf ALL of the hayabusa forums out there know that this bike was sent to that dealer by Suzuki specifically for Barry at Velocity racing. He isn't allowed to divulge the dyno numbers yet, but you can be sure they will dyno the bike before they start trying to make mega power with it. They have to get a baseline, and sooner or later, we'll know what it is putting down.

Thanks for the pics Pipe.

Bike was actually sent to Barry at Velocity.
Barry was going to be out of town, so Roger at Bell's is a friend of Barry's and Velocity have bought a lot of bikes from there; Barry figured he could display it at Bell's until he returns.
Bike will be their until tomorrow evening, and then Barry is taking it back.
So the bike is actually Velocity Racing's.

Read post above about who's bike it is.
Was not for sale, just display while Barry was out of town.
Roger said it will be sold to the public in Oct.
Didn't ask about the white.

No problem Doug.
Can't lie, it was also a good time to go out and spend with Dad.

I'm not the only person to travel to see it.
He said that a guy is supposedly coming from NC to look at it tomorrow.

The new bike looks great ---except for that tail end and the semi- truck sized cans. It looks like Suxuki didn't even use LED's in the tail light. Those problems are minor. I 'd buy one in a couple years.
