Eddie Guerrero passes away
Nov. 13, 2005
WWE is deeply saddened by the news that Eddie Guerrero has passed away. He was found dead Sunday morning in his hotel room in Minneapolis. Eddie is survived by his wife Vickie and daughters Shaul, 14, Sherilyn, 9, and Kaylie Marie, 3.
The cause of death is unknown at this time. An autopsy will be performed in Minneapolis on Monday, and Eddie's body will then be flown to Phoenix. Funeral arrangements are set for Wednesday in Scottsdale, Arizona.

I grew up watching wresting. I remember watching Guerrero when he was with WCW and when he went over to the WWF (now WWE). He was a true class act. Even though he wasn't as "spectacular" as some of the other wrestlers, his charisma more than made up for that. The way he used to "dance" out a sleeper-hold was a trip. One of the things I liked ... or actually admired about him was that he stayed true to his Latin roots. Heck, he even had a series of suplexes he called "The Three Amigos". Being as I myself am Latin, that meant alot to me. I'm just grateful I was able to watch his final match this past Friday. BTW ... his finishing move was the "Frog Splash". He would climb to the top rope and basically belly-flop onto his downed opponent.
This is for you Eddie ...
