passenger seat

hi i have just took the cowl off the bak of the bike and fit the passenger seat , but it doesnt seem to fit tight to the bike , is this normal?

When you say it doesn't fit tight to the bike what exactly do you mean? Does it move around while locked in? Or is there just a gap between the seat and plastic? If it is latter then that is normal. There's a quarter inch gap between the passenger seat and the plastics on my busa. If it moves around while locked in place it is probably the locking pin on the passenger seat. I would just try tightening the screws on that piece.

I believe the spacers for the rear bolts get removed when the seat is in place.

Also the seat has indents where a grab rail goes, the grab rail is removed (unless you mod cowl) when the hump is attached
