Olbermann is GOING DOWN!

I surprised they even have such a policy but he broke it so he is punished. Real scandal would have been if he donated to Republicans.
Funny Fox has no such rule and hell they just put Presidential candidates on there payroll.

not only is he suspended......his ratings are slipping.

I saw a little of his interview with Mike Moore....he is so radical, he made Moore sound reasonable at times.

Does Fox news have a policy against it? Apparently Not
Did NBC have a policy against it that he knew about in advance? Yes
Did these other people at Fox also interview those they gave to? Who knows only time will tell.

The point is that he did it in spite of the clear policy NBC had to the contrary. Has any other NBC person done same and not fired?

I still love it. Now, if they'd just fire that man-child Rachel Maddow, that WOULD be the icing on the cake .

When you sign a contract sometimes you sign away your rights too.... Its a violation of contract as I understand it...

Fox News is also retardedly NOT fair and balanced. I think its hilarious how conservative most of their airing is

He wasn't let go because of political donations - political donations can be allowed. What he failed to do was get authorization to do so first ...

MSNBC has a new boss, and he's tossed his power around a lot, so this looks like Olbermann is being made an example of.

Keith Olbermann will return as host of MSNBC’s “Countdown” on Tuesday, following four days (and two shows) of what had been labeled an “indefinite” suspension.

“After several days of deliberation and discussion, I have determined that suspending Keith through and including Monday night’s program is an appropriate punishment for his violation of our poicy,” said network president Phil Griffin.

“We look forward to having him back on the air Tuesday night.”

They don't have big ratings at MSNBC but what they do have comes in large part due to him. So like all things,, follow the money.
